JC Whittington is a multi-platform journalist covering all things politics and policy in Washington, D.C., with Politico. She hails from Prince George’s County, Maryland. Whittington received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland College Park and her Master’s degree in journalism from Georgetown University.

Along with reporting at the Capitol and White House, Whittington also serves as a professor at Georgetown University where she teaches courses on how to report on race and ethnicity and video journalism. She has previously worked at CBS WUSA9 and ABC News.
