
With over 20 years of experience ranging from corporate to NGO and humanitarian work, Nadiah Hanim Abdul Latifis passionate about issues relating to sustainability, climate resilience, business & human rights, youth enablement, child rights, protection & development, and access to disability resources.
At present, she heads Strategy and Programmes at Yayasan Anak Bangsa Bisa, is the Co-founder of social enterprises, OpiS International and Play Unlimited, an Anchor with Bernama News Channel, the President of the Malaysian Rare Disorders Society, the Regional Representative for Southeast Asia, Oman, Qatar and South Korea for the Phelan McDermid Syndrome (PMS) Foundation, an Assistant Child Protector for the Petaling District and a Children’s Court Advisor for Petaling Jaya.
To date, she has had the opportunity to work with and engage stakeholders from various backgrounds, from grassroots advocacy to leading award winning programmes and landmark efforts including development of Malaysia’s first reporting portal to combat child pornography, training and development for national child helplines, discussions on legislations and national action plans for persons with rare disorders, disability and business & human rights, both in Malaysia and abroad.
Nadiah believes that an inclusive and healthy society is only possible when everyone is equally committed, invested and involved. She believes that whilst it is good to be bold, it is equally important to be kind.
