
Eric Eyre is an investigative reporter at Mountain State Spotlight, a nonprofit news outlet, and is a former reporter for the Charleston Gazette-Mail newspaper for 22 years. In 2017, his investigation into massive shipments of opioids to West Virginia was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting. He is the author of “Death in Mud Lick: A Coal Country Fight Against the Drug Companies That Delivered the Opioid Epidemic.”
Eyre was part of a National Press Foundation panel discussion “Writing About Opioids.”
