Tatman Savio is a partner in Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP’s international trade practice. Savio counsels clients on U.S. law and policy affecting international trade and business, including anti-corruption laws, anti-money laundering laws, sanctions programs, export control laws, foreign investment laws and anti-boycott regulations. Savio has assisted clients in a diverse range of industries, including energy, aerospace, defense, venture capital, private equity, mining and engineering and construction. Savio assists clients with the development and implementation of effective compliance programs, advises on the application of international trade laws with respect to foreign investment and other transactions, and manages internal investigations and related enforcement concerns associated with potential violations of export, sanctions and anti-corruption laws. Savio received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
