Covering the Opioids Crisis and Related Issues

The National Press Foundation is producing a one-day workshop in Washington, D.C., for journalists covering the opioids epidemic and related issues. Expert speakers will provide the latest research and projections on usage of opioids, other drugs and alcohol; evidence on federal, state and local models that work; insight on systemic changes in prevention and treatment; information on the impact and stigma on children and families; and other topics TBA. A download session will conclude the training.

NPF offers this professional development opportunity for journalists to enhance skills, increase knowledge and recharge their reporting on one of today’s most critical issues.

This training is for professional journalists only. Registration is mandatory. Lunch will be provided.
