Cancer Issues 2009
Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, and it adds more than $200 billion dollars per year in medical costs to the United States. In September, the National Press Foundation invited sixteen journalists to Washington, DC to take an in-depth look at cancer issues including the latest developments in cancer research as well as the controversies related to cancer screening and treatment.
