Douglas Hopper

Douglas Hopper, based in Washington, DC, writes about HIV/AIDS-related issues for the NPF Helpdesk.  He is a producer at National Public Radio for Tell Me More, a daily program focused on diversity and minority issues.  He started his career at NPR as a Kroc Fellow, a year-long training program focused on radio and multimedia storytelling.  Prior to pursuing a career in broadcast journalism, Douglas worked in the field of public health, focusing on HIV/AIDS prevention among GLBT youth.
