Julie Triolo is senior VP of research and marketing at Vevo.

She was previously the VP of product marketing for Warner Bros. Discovery in the Ignite division, where she helped launch new and innovative products into market for CNN, Great Big Story, Bleacher Report, TBS, TNT, Adult Swim, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, HLN, SuperDeluxe and major-league sports coverage.

Prior to Turner, Julie served as the Head of Global Business Marketing at King where she led the marketing team for King’s advertising business. Developing the brand positioning, division strategies and go to market plans that expanded revenue for King and its parent company, Activision Blizzard.

As the former Head of Global Marketing for Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Tech, Triolo led the launch of some of the most iconic products that have pioneered a new way of delivering news & information across the media landscape. These launches include the introduction of digital magazines with Yahoo Tech and Editor in Chief, David Pogue (formerly of the NYT), along with the premium voices platform anchored by Katie Couric, as well as the mobile launches of Yahoo News Digest and Yahoo Weather.

Julie has 15+ years of marketing and advertising experience and was awarded the New York Advertising Club’s Presidential award of 2015.

In 2014 Julie joined the National Press Foundation dinner committee. In 2015, she joined NPF’s board of directors and was appointed as Co-Chairman of the NPF journalism awards dinner.

Julie earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and lives with her husband, two children and dog in Brooklyn, NY.
