Lobbyists: Reporting on K Street
On Monday, October 4th, journalist and author Jeffrey Birnbaum spoke with the 2010 Paul Miller fellows about reporting on Washington's lobbyists.
Birnbaum reported for The Wall Street Journal for sixteen years, and was the Washington bureau chief for Fortune magazine for seven. He has also worked as a columnist and writer for The Washington Post, a senior political correspondent for Time magazine, and as the Managing Editor of The Washington Times, Digital. Currently, he is the President of BGR Public Relations and a member of the National Press Foundation's Board of Directors.
Two of Birnbaum's books, The Money Men and The Lobbyists, explore the power and influence of Washington's lobbyists on the political process.
