Douglas Hopper by Douglas Hopper 0 comments

Here's a new site for your daily dose of must-read global health news:

Tom Paulson, who joined NPF for the J2J Fellowship in Cape Town, is taking the reins of a new blog "Covering the fight to reduce poverty and improve global health."  The site, dubbed Humanosphere, is a project of National Public Radio member station KPLU in Seattle, Washington.  The pacific northwest city is  recognized as an epicenter of global health innovations, home to several international NGO's  - PATH, The Gates Foundation, World Vision, just to name a few.

"As Seattle takes center stage in the effort to reduce poverty and improve health outcomes across the world, we’d like to give you a front-row seat. We hope this site will be your principle source of news, conversation and analysis about the intertwined issues of global health and poverty."

In a recent post, Tom reports on a debate here in Washington, D.C., about the future of the U.S. global AIDS response.

Congrats Tom.  We'll be following your work.
