Mark Drajem has been a Bloomberg News reporter for 14 years, where he has covered energy and the environment, international trade, international finance and the World Bank. He has reported on the safety of hydraulic fracturing, the future of coal and the default of Argentina. After the 9/11 attacks, he traveled to Pakistan to report from there. Before joining Bloomberg, Drajem was a freelance journalist in India, and a daily newspaper reporter in upstate New York. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and former Peace Corps volunteer, he now lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife and two children.
