Melinda Henneberger is a Washington Post political writer and anchors the paper’s She the People blog. She was the editor-in-chief of PoliticsDaily.com, which was supported by AOL.com. She spent 10 years as a reporter for the New York Times, in the paper's Washington and Rome bureaus. She is the author of If They Only Listened to Us: What Women Voters Want Politicians to Hear (2007, Simon & Schuster) based on interviews with women in 20 states after the 2004 presidential election. She also writes a regular column for the Catholic opinion journal Commonweal, and speaks on college campuses as part of the Commonweal Speaker series. She has also worked for the Dallas Morning News and New York Newsday where was part of a Pulitzer prize winner team that covered a subway crash.
